Tales from the Empire – ONE MAN SHOW in Auditorium
4 performances (1 performance of each of 4 parts in the series, consecutively): Fridays (7, 14, 21, and 28) in September at 7 PM.
Author and Franklin resident Tom Morgan, the voice of radio’s “Moneytalk,” will bring his four-part one-man show, Tales from the Empire, to the stage at Fenimore Art Museum on Fridays in September at 7 PM. With great humor and heart, each of the four plays tell the story of Morgan’s family members, former owners of the Empire Hotel in Gilbertsville. Morgan narrates and portrays an array of characters, reflecting on his journey of self-discovery along the way. The show is adapted from his autobiographical stories published in newspaper columns and on his radio show. Each of the four parts of the series will run once only on four consecutive Fridays (7, 14, 21, and 28) in September. Each part does stand alone as an individual theatrical performance, though seeing all four is highly recommended!
