If your child has an interest in photography, sign them up for this fun and exciting three-day photography experience! Both morning and afternoon classes will visit the special photography exhibits at Fenimore Art Museum and use the images as a basis for hands-on projects.
In the morning workshop for children ages 9-12, participants will learn the basics of digital photography while taking part in a series of fun exercises to teach them about composition, color, perspective, focus, and other photography principles. Landscape, nature, portrait, action, and other styles of photography will be explored. A viewing of the students’ favorite photos for family and friends will conclude the experience. Students will need their own point-and-shoot digital camera with memory card. No cell phone cameras please!
