Tait’s pictures of wildlife, sportsmen, landscape, and rural community life resonated with 19th-century Americans seeking respite from the fast pace of urban living. Join guest curator Caroline M. Welsh, art historian and director emerita of the Adirondack Museum, on a tour of this exhibition, organized by the Adirondack Museum.
