The New York State Historical Association invites you to browse the stacks in our acclaimed research library, participate in an on-line discussion on American art, visit the Fenimore Art Museum or learn about the latest history teaching standards. The Association serves a wide audience of members, researchers, scholars, students, and teachers interested in the history and culture of New York and America. The Association also sponsors the Cooperstown Graduate Program in Museum Studies which is recognized as the premier museum studies program in the United States.

We invite our members and their guests to attend our Annual Meeting each July. The one hundred and eighth Annual Meeting will be held on July 14, 2011 at the Louis C. Jones Center at The Farmers' Museum beginning at 4:00 p.m. A reception will follow.
