Fenimore Art Museum offers a wide range of educational programming for people of all ages, from Discovering Art & Nature for children to our very popular Food for Thought lecture series. New lectures and programs are being created all the time, so check back often to see what’s available.
Our hands-on workshops for adults combine in-depth instruction with creative inspiration for artists of all skill levels.
From lunchtime tours to evening book signings, lectures at the Fenimore Art Museum cover a broad range of topics in art, history and culture and introduce visitors to many interesting, knowledgeable speakers from around the world.
Children of all ages are invited to learn about art while having lots of fun in our kids’ programs and workshops, with unique, seasonal, or customized offerings throughout the year!
Throughout the year, Special Events are offered at the Fenimore Art Museum and, across the street at its sister institution, The Farmers' Museum. Many are open to the public. Occasionally reservations are required or special admission pricing applies; please see specific listings.
