2008 October Conference for Teachers

Registration Costs:
NYSHA Member* / Non-Member

Registration Notes:
• Continental breakfasts on Friday and Saturday and lunch and dinner on Friday are included in the registration fee.
• There is no fee for the 50th Anniversary Reception on Thursday evening, but pre-registration is required.
• NYSHA/The Farmers’ Museum members receive a 15% discount. Please send a copy of your card with your registration form, or sign up for membership on your registration form.
• Some activities (i.e., some workshops, Thursday evening activity) may require additional fees that must be paid at time of registration.
• Pre-registration deadline is Wednesday, October 15, 2008.
• On-site registration begins at 8:00 a.m. on Friday at the Main Barn of The Farmers’ Museum.

Meals and Events:
• Thursday evening’s Anniversary Reception will be held between 5pm and 7pm at the Bump Tavern at The Farmers’ Museum. Hors d’oeuvres and soft drinks will be served, and a cash bar will be available.
• Continental breakfasts will include fare such as hot oatmeal, pastries, bagels, yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and assorted juices. (This menu is subject to change)
• The lunch menu, which will include vegetarian options, will consist of a deli lunch.
• The Friday dinner is a buffet, featuring three main dish choices (including one vegetarian), several sides, desserts and beverages.

The Cooperstown area has three commercial hotels with affordable off season rates available to conference attendees. The rates listed below are estimates and are subject to change:
