Opening Reception: Thursday, Sept. 28, 5:30-7:00 p.m.
Are you a member of Fenimore Art Museum who creates two-dimensional artwork, including paintings, drawings, photography, and beyond? We would like to offer an opportunity to exhibit your work in our Museum Members’ Showcase in the Community Gallery of Fenimore Art Museum this fall! There is no fee to submit your work. Please see below for guidelines.
An opening reception with food and beverages will be held on Thursday, September 28 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. for all Museum Members who submitted entries. During the reception, a secret ballot will be conducted and a Member’s Choice prize will be awarded.
· All works must be two-dimensional, framed and ready to hang (no 3D works this year, but they may be eligible in future exhibits)
· Works must be 16” x 20” or less in dimension
· Works cannot be offered for sale through the museum
· Each Museum Member may submit one entry for consideration
DELIVERY OF ARTWORKS: Monday, Sept. 25, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. & Tuesday, Sept. 26, 10 a.m. – Noon (no works can be accepted after this time due to gallery preparation)
PICKUP OF ARTWORKS: Tuesday, Oct. 30, or Wednesday, Oct. 31, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
