Scope and Content Note

The papers of the King and Vedder families, mostly from Cairo and Leeds, Greene County, N.Y., contain diaries, particularly those of Rose Palen Vedder (1862-1933) and Lovisa Peck King (1808-1902). They also include account books, correspondence (with transcriptions), genealogy, records of an academic society, a household inventory, and dye recipes.
