History Scholarly Attributions: Whiteford Description - bet. 1993 & 1995 - "Half of a Navajo woman's traditional dress. Plain weave with natural black wool and raveled red yarn dyed with lac and/or cochineal. The angular terraced designs are old. Northern Arizona / New Mexico. ca.1860-1880 .."
