Scholarly Attributions:
Letter from George Hamell - 16 April 1994 - "This comb is extremely similar to one which had been excavated by a collector from a burial in the 1980s on the Dann site, Monroe County and at which I had been asked to look. Certainly the style is consistent with a date of about 1660-1675. I also recommend that you check the records at the Rochester Museum and Science Center for possible further provenance information." |
