History Scholarly Attributions: [1] Leah Bowe - June 2002 - "Extraordinary bag. Windmaker design is prominent. The fine printed cotton backing on the back of the strap is still evident. The serpent/snake design on the strap ends on the left proper appear to have been restored." [2] Jolene Rickard - June 2002 - "The beadworker has sewn and arranged the beads in such a dense composition that the beadwork appears to be slightly raised. This technique is similar in some ways to raised Iroquois beadwork." [3] Jonathan Holstein - June 2002 - "The tow backing on the back of the strap is a later addition. The red tassels also appear to be a later addition, perhaps the green one on the end of the flap is original."
