COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. (11/08/2013) — Six local garden clubs will work together to beautify a grand canvas: the mansion that houses the Fenimore Art Museum. From November 26 through the close of its season on December 29, visitors to the museum will see the museum's grand stairway and halls trimmed with flowers and greenery for the season.
Carrying on an annual tradition, the Lake and Valley Garden Club in Cooperstown spearheads a collaboration with the Butternut Valley Garden Club from Gilbertsville, the Greene Garden Club, the Norwich Garden Club, the Oxford Garden Club, and the Town and Country Garden Club from Norwich. The result is a museum bedecked in glorious holiday decorations.
All of the museum’s galleries are full of glorious art too. Visit the museum's website for more information about its current exhibitions.
