COOPERSTOWN, N.Y.— May 30, 2014—The Fenimore Art Museum hosts the annual Cooperstown High School exhibit Our Town. In this special project, students interview community members and create artistic interpretations of their life experiences and beliefs.

The opening reception for the Our Town exhibit is Thursday, June 12, 2014, from 5:30-7:00 pm. While there is no cost to attend the reception, donations to support future community exhibitions are gratefully accepted. Fenimore Art Museum is investing in community artists and art-making by dedicating the Clark Gallery alcove on the museum’s lower level as a community art exhibition space.

Our Town is on view June 5–July 6 during regular museum hours and is included with regular museum admission. The museum is open seven days at week from 10 am to 5 pm. The Fenimore Art Museum is located at 5798 State Highway 80 (Lake Rd.), Cooperstown, NY 13326.
