An afternoon of games, hands-on art activities, and treasure hunts fill the galleries at Fenimore Art Museum on Saturday, April 20, from 1:00–4:00 pm. Family Fun Day: Treasure Hunt at the Fenimore offers a special time for families to enjoy the museum, highlighted by the Catskill Puppet Theater’s presention of “Hiawatha” based on the life of the great Iroquois hero at 2:00 pm.
Children can try a Native American inspired craft, create landscape art, and convert trash to treasure by making crafts from found materials. Native American and folk art scavenger hunts throughout the museum will be great fun for the whole family! In addition, there will be storytelling, games and give-aways.
